In this piece, I travel through different heights above the Earth. I view the globe from deep space, spinning down through the atmosphere. After landing on the ground, I float back through the clouds. The poem, I Live My Life in Widening Rings, aptly describes what I was imagining while I wrote:

I live my life in widening rings

that move gently over the land. 

I may not reach the end of these

but I will try my hand. 

I circle round God, that ancient tower,

my journey a thousand years long. 

I know not yet: am I a falcon, a storm

or the sound of a glorious song.
